SMAN 1 Singkep Successfully Conducts Digital Portfolio Creation Training for 12th Grade Students

Lingga - More than 80 students from the 12th grade of SMAN 1 Singkep, Lingga Regency, Riau Islands Province, participated in a digital internet training with the theme "CREATION OF ONLINE DIGITAL PORTFOLIOS FOR STUDENTS BASED ON WEBLOG AND LANDING PAGE FOR ENHANCING 12th GRADE STUDENTS' SOFT SKILLS AT SMAN 1 SINGKEP". The event, which took place from March 28th to April 5th, 2024, was held at the Multimedia Laboratory of SMAN 1 Singkep. This training was initiated as part of efforts to enhance students' soft skills, which are increasingly important in facing challenges in the digital era. In his remarks, the Principal of SMAN 1 Lingga, Mr. Lexminander B.K.A.D, S.Pd, expressed his appreciation for the organization of this event. "This training is a very positive step in supporting progress in education at SMAN 1 Singkep," he said. The speaker in this training was Mr. Azrani Ery Saputra, S.Pi, also the manager of the Integrated Indonesian Digital School Community (KISDIT) - (kisdit.mtecht.my.id). He is one of the local children of Lingga region who focuses on digital development and has extensive experience in providing training in various schools in the Riau Islands province. Mr. Azrani Ery Saputra, S.Pi, explained that the purpose of this training is to provide students with an understanding of the importance of having an online digital portfolio. "An online digital portfolio is an effective way for students to present their work visually and measurably," he said. During the training, students were provided with basic knowledge and skills in creating weblogs and landing pages. They were taught about attractive design concepts, the use of digital media, and effective content presentation techniques. Students were also given the opportunity to practice directly by creating their own online digital portfolios.

One of the training participants, Aditya, expressed his enthusiasm for this activity. "I feel very fortunate to be able to participate in this training. I learned a lot about how to present myself online through a digital portfolio," he said. This training is expected to have a positive impact on students in improving their digital communication skills and increasing their opportunities to enter the increasingly competitive future job market. With support from the school and digital communities like KISDIT, it is hoped that more students can optimize their potential through the use of digital technology.
